TESTIMONIALS
Here's what some of my clients say about working with me.

“In a world where we get stuck in our heads living with feelings of embedded unresolved past and present pain this SAH session with Jo was a revelation. It felt like I’d tapped into my own inner ancient wisdom and for the first time in a very long time I woke without the familiar heaviness in my solar plexus. The session itself invites you to tap into your inner child and bring her to the surface. Dance with joy and self love, no judgment just self compassion. Right from the start Jo’s love radiates through and she brings her sparkly passion to the session. I felt safe and I felt held. I absolutely love how there was no need to tell my story which left me feeling free. A subtle yet powerful shift. Jo personalized the session to match with what I was personally needing to let go of. After my session I couldn’t quite work out what was different but chuckled to myself as I walked around the supermarket as my body wanted to continue dancing and my voice felt louder and clearer. Mystical yet grounding. I cannot recommend this session with Jo enough. Quite incredible.”

“I just had a SAH method session with Jo and it was absolutely amazing. I came to her with a vague feeling of what was wrong and physical symptoms. She really helped me get to the root of what was going on and why. Jo then lead me through several somatic movements which brought the issue up and out my body, bringing with it big realisations and great visual and physical sensations, along with relief of my physical symptom. Jo is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. I felt very comfortable with her and was able to let emotions out and talk at ease. She guided me with amazing insight about what will be useful and important for me in the future. I came away from the session feeling lighter, happier, stronger and just better. I highly, highly recommend working with Jo”

Tired of being tired was the tagline that got me hooked into learning more about what Jo's programmes were all about. I enrolled onto the 1:1 12 week coaching course and I can honestly say it is the best thing I have ever done.
Jo's kindness, guidance and support envelopes you into a journey of self discovery and how to feel and be a better you. Her daily check in's, weekly meets and visualisations during the programme have made me re-evaluate a lot of things in life, reset my mindset and well-being and for that I am forever grateful.
Jo is there whenever you need her and her support, encouragement and motivation is exceptional to keep you set on your goals and succeed in what ever challenge your facing.
Jo's intuition into how you are feeling is endearing and she makes you feel safe. Tailoring the programme to your needs and presenting you with challenges to push you out of your comfort zone is what builds an amazing relationship. Her techniques to increase self esteem and get rid of emotions and habits that no longer serve you are a life changer.
Jo also introduced me to the SAH method of moving, breathing, meditation and most importantly affirmations, which I can honestly say is an unbelievably uplifting and empowering experience. It is one of the best methods I have undertaken to becoming a more grounded, more free and spirited self.
Jo is a fantastic, energetic and deeply caring person, on her programmes she will make you stronger and give you the confidence to enable you to be a happier you.
So wherever you are around the world, Jo is your first step to becoming the real person you deserve to be and unlock your magic.

When I started my work with Jo I was 3 months alcohol free. I felt I needed support to continue as the temptation to start drinking again became stronger. AA did not appeal to me. A friend of mine recommended Jo and she gave me her contact. Jo and I had a discovery call to see if we would be a good fit. I was very depressed when we spoke and what I found so amazing about Jo is that, even though I had never met her, she was able to make me feel held and supported. I could feel her genuine love coming through the phone. Needless to say we both felt our partnership would work and we went ahead to book the first session.
This is what it is, a partnership. You both put in the work. And hard work it is too. Jo is always available for additional support outside the weekly talks. She also intuitively messaged me to check in with how I was doing and that made me feel so much better. It is wonderful she has that intuition as it makes you feel truly connected which is super important to me. Her messages always came at just the right time. Magical!…

I started my journey with Jo focused on leaving behind the ‘want’ & ‘need’ to occupy my free ‘fun’ time with a drink in my hand. As a task orientated individual who gets a dopamine hit from ticking off goals, I thought “lets aim for 90 days without alcohol and see what happens”! I had no idea what to expect from Jo or indeed myself.
Then BOOM! The penny dropped! Life isn’t about focusing on avoiding something (cup half empty), its about focusing on what brings you joy and filling your cup up! (Stolen from Jo herself).
Jo’s coaching style has navigated me through some tricky parts personally and allowed me to give myself permission to stop, breathe and focus on investing in myself…. Something that most of us on the planet are completely rubbish at.
It may sound corny, but Jo has literally saved my life! There are so many of us who reach a certain age and start reflecting on what’s next and it can be terrifying, but Jo’s warmth, patience and passion for what she does it remarkable. A diamond in the rough, who I now classify as a friend as well as a life coach. Yes I said life coach! I have forgotten the aim of not having a drink (which I haven’t btw) because I am having way too much fun trying to find out what else I can throw myself at in stage 2 of life journey….

Since giving up drinking with the help of Sober Jo and the group program, back in March 2022, my confidence, wellbeing and outlook and life in general have gone from strength to strength
Coaching that started with a sober focus has seamlessly led to 1:1 life coaching, looking at goals and aspirations whilst managing fears and disruptive thought processes.
Together we have worked on my fear of public speaking which enabled me to pass a panel interview for a promotion at work with flying colours and more recently, the management of my nerves on performing.
If someone would have said to me 12 months ago that I would be competing in a UK championships solo event and be able to manage my nerves in the lead-up and on the rink and perform like I can at home during training and enjoy it, I would never have believed it. But it’s true, it was the best competing experience of my life and its all thanks to Jo’s support, mentoring, coaching and most of all her belief in me.
I am so excited for my next challenge with Jo. I feel like the possibilities are now endless.
Thank you so much Jo.

If you’re reading these testimonials, then you’re probably considering your relationship with alcohol. Maybe you’re even thinking of working with Jo and going sober. Maybe you have a few doubts - do I really want to give up booze? Is it really that much of a problem? - but you’re here on this page, thinking about it - which says a lot…
I was you once - doing exactly the same thing. And I say take the plunge - go for it!
I’d reached my 46th birthday and had a horrible realisation that I’d been using alcohol as a social crutch for 30 years. Even though it made me miserable and anxious, I couldn’t imagine life without booze. Surely it would be boring. Surely I would be boring.
Then I heard Jo telling her story on a podcast. And she was FUN and interesting and full of joy. Her sober life wasn’t boring - it sounded like a life I wanted. With confidence and energy and really great skin! I knew instinctively that this was the person I needed to help me go sober.
Jo has done that and so much more…

“What a positive experience working with Jo. I am so thankful that the universe made our paths cross and she made time in her already full schedule to coach me.
I truly had no idea what to expect from a coach, especially around the topic of alcohol, which people natural jump to the conclusion that you have whisky on your cornflakes. To counter the popular belief, a lot of people just have a bad relationship with alcohol, and that can be just feeling horrid after a single night out a week.
Jo has developed an amazing toolset which cover discovery through to sustaining a healthy life for the foreseeable future.

“As a professional who does a lot of freelance work and so who works a lot for myself and by myself, I wanted to try working with a coach, someone who I could talk to about my ambitions in life and career and discuss ways I could achieve goals.
“I met Jo on a course before I started working with her. As part of the course she spoke about her Sober Jo programme and her coaching business. I loved her energy, her passion and her genuine investment in helping people through a variety of different journeys, and I came away thinking, I would love to work with her.
When I started working with Jo I didn’t really know what to expect from our time together, I just knew I wanted a space to discover and access to guidance.
Jo is such a warm, bubbly, incredibly caring and genuine person, which is exactly the type of person you need when embarking on a (sometimes difficult) journey of evaluating yourself, your life, your work and your goals and ambitions……”
