Become A Coach

I have started my 12-month journey to become a coach! This is something that I have been thinking about for a long time and it is exciting to finally be doing it.

What have I taken away so far?

Every journey always has the same beginning, middle and end. We have to identify where the client is now and where they need to get to.

It's not about buying coaching for the client; it's about purchasing the transformation you offer them. Focus on the outcome that you will deliver, and if you are the right person for them, it inspires and resonates with them. I am a true believer that what is for you will not pass you.

Managing expectations is vital - every step of the way. From the moment you sign a contract to throughout every session.

Ensure that they have agreed on their intention and what their next steps are, and if they feel like they are moving forward.

It's important to me that I follow good ethics and have quality training as I will be working with people who trust me to help with their lives - this is why I wanted to be ICF accredited. After all, I could impact their lives positively or negatively, depending on how I handle this relationship.

I want to help other people who are stuck like I was. I have seen what it's like to waste your life rotting on the sofa, and I have come out of the other side. I am not afraid to navigate, all of which is inside myself and inside of other people.

I want these people to feel like they have support to help move them forward. I want them to know that they do not have to follow the status quo, and they can transform their life for the better.

What is the outcome? I want people to connect or reconnect with what brings them joy to do more of what they love. I want them to feel comfortable in their skin.

My goal is to move to Bali in 5 years with my husband to live a life of abundance and freedom. Coaching and hosting Sober Journey retreats for other like-minded people.

I am a true believer in visualisation, if you can imagine what your ideal world will look like, then you can create it. What will you imagine for yourself?
