Relationship with alcohol - visualisation

This visualisation is going to shine a light on your relationship with alcohol.

Trust me, follow these steps and see what comes up for you.

Visualisation is an incredibly powerful tool that increases dopamine levels, the chemical responsible for motivation.

How to use the visualisation:

  1. Set aside 15 minutes to do the whole visualisation. Find a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed.

  2. Play the visualisation.

  3. Journal - Whether you type in the notes on your phone, make a voice note or put pen to paper, this is about releasing what comes up for you to create awareness around it.

4. Reflect

Some may have seen someone or something which they do not like.

If what you visualised gave you a negative feeling, it may be time to look at your relationship with alcohol.

Is it truly serving you? Is it time to let go?

You don’t have to have a ‘problem’ in society's eyes to want to make a positive lifestyle change, one that you won’t want to give up.

Have you heard about tapping?

Tapping is a powerful technique called EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). In this session, I will show you the beginnings of tapping and a routine that you can use to help with alcohol cravings.

Tapping also works for releasing fears around presenting or going for that promotion—I love working with people to shift those emotional blocks that have been holding them back. It's a gentle yet profoundly effective method that allows people to find acceptance and peace within themselves.

EFT involves gently tapping specific points of your body, either self-guided or guided whilst focusing on specific emotions or issues.

When tapping with me, as a practitioner, I can guide you to clear disruptions in the body's energy system, bringing the feelings you have suppressed to the forefront, and by doing so, emotional and physical imbalances can be addressed, facilitating healing and fostering a sense of emotional freedom.

Body Scan Meditation

A gentle and transformative journey within. In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to lose touch with our bodies and the sensations they hold. This guided meditation will invite you to reconnect with yourself, promoting relaxation, self-awareness, and a profound sense of inner calm.

As you embark on this meditation, you'll be guided through a systematic exploration of your body, from head to toe, fostering a deep sense of mindfulness and presence. By tuning into each part of your body, you'll release tension, reduce stress, and promote a greater sense of physical and mental well-being.

Find a comfortable and quiet space, take a few deep breaths, and allow yourself to let go of the external world. Join us as we journey inward, discovering the wisdom and peace that resides within your own body.

Stock up on alcohol-free drinks that feel like a treat. There are many choices, from health drinks to alcohol alternatives and they taste so good, minus the messiness and hangover.

Get your favourite glass out of the cupboard, create that mindful serve for yourself and enjoy!

Before you go out, check out the restaurant or bars' alcohol-free range. Most have them online. You can call ahead of your booking and ask if you need clarification. If they don't have something, ask if you can bring something and pay for the corkage! If you don't ask, you won't get and the ranges will never change if we don’t show the demand.
